Kaye Whitby, Head of the Chester Office of North West law firm SAS Daniels LLP, has been nominated for Business Woman of the Year at the Chester Women in Business Awards.
The awards, new for 2013, were set up to recognise the contributions of women in the Chester business community. The nomination comes only months after Kaye’s promotion to head up SAS Daniels’ Chester office.
Kaye joined the firm in 2008, and as well as her role running the Chester office is also head of the commercial team within the corporate group. Kaye advises business clients on a range of matters including corporate structures, acquisitions and disposals, shareholder/partnership agreements and commercial and trading agreements. She is also a trustee and director of CLASP.
Kaye said “I’m delighted to have been nominated for the award. As a business we are determined to continue to have an impact on the Chester business community and being nominated alongside such great competition shows how much of an impression the whole team has made in the city.”
Chairman of SAS Daniels LLP, said “This nomination is the least Kaye deserves. She has been instrumental in leading the growth of both our Chester office and also the commercial and corporate teams, and I’m sure her colleagues and clients would agree that few deserve it more.”
The awards will be announced at the inaugural Women in Business Awards, on Thursday 30 May 2013.
