We act for a particular client who owns a number of separate businesses operating within the healthcare sector.
Our client asked if we could provide practical training to the managers of each individual business, to enable them to properly deal with HR issues.
Our first priority was to ensure that we had an in-depth understanding of each business, their specific requirements and the subtle differences between them. Once we had a better understanding of both the individual and collective challenges the businesses were facing, we could identify the training required to rectify these issues.
We were then able to provide a bespoke, concise training package to meet their specific business needs, working through practical examples and providing a step-by-step approach to deal with common HR issues. The training included advice on how to carry out fair and effective disciplinary and grievance procedures as well as practical methods of dealing with long-term and short-term sickness absence cases.
By working through case studies specific to our client’s industry, we were able to demonstrate how to deal with these issues as soon as they arose.
