Cyber Security – Hacking, Cracking & Social Engineering. Should I care?
Most professionals use a computer, tablet, phone or smart device every day, however many are unaware of cyber security and naïve to the risks of using these seemingly safe devices. Join us at The Business Club, where Graham Fern, from Axon IT will educate us about the threat landscape, the importance of passwords and how hackers can manipulate you – their potential victims – via social engineering.
With the mere mention of the word ‘hacker’ being enough for us to run for the hills, Graham will dispel the myths about them, talk about who the ‘white, black and grey’ hat hackers are and why they choose to do what they do. As our vehicles, homes and appliances become ever more connected, this knowledge may be vital to keeping your business, devices, financial information and data safe in future.
We will also have two guest ‘spotlight’ speakers who will share insight and information.
