North West law firm SAS Daniels LLP has been appointed as the legal firm for national membership organisation, GTA England.
The not-for-profit group, which is headquartered in Blackburn, was founded in 2009 to help group training organisations (GTAs) across the country deploy work-based training and apprenticeship schemes. The organisation aims to raise the profile of GTAs and assist with presenting a case for funding, whilst working with the government as a partner in growing the UK industry of the future.
SAS Daniels, which has offices in Chester, Congleton, Macclesfield and Stockport, has been appointed by the organisation to assist with legal matters including funding and commercial agreements.
Jeremy Orrell, SAS Daniels’ lead partner for GTA England, said: “We are delighted to have GTA England on board as a client and to assist them in meeting their objectives. SAS Daniels acts for a number of GTAs, including Training 2000 Limited which is the largest GTA in the country, and has developed a high level of expertise in the training sector. It’s a real privilege to also now be acting for the national body which represents these GTAs.”
GTA England has an infrastructure that supports an annual turnover of its members of over £75m and is backed by some 15,000 employers.
Chief Executive of SAS Daniels, said: “An appointment to work with a national client on this scale is testament to the outstanding work of Jeremy and his team and the specialism that the firm has in advising education and training organisations. The firm is delighted to add to its increasingly national client base.”
The new appointment tops off a period of sustained growth for the Cheshire-based law firm. Earlier in the year the firm was awarded a place on the National Australia Bank Group’s (NAB) West of England legal panel, and in recent months has attracted an influx of work from schools following the development of a specialist team to help the education sector.
