Meet the Team : Jack Ramsden

Jack Ramsden

I am a Trainee Solicitor in our Stockport office specialising in Dispute Resolution and I am predominantly involved with personal and corporate insolvency work. I act for individuals, corporate entities and insolvency practitioners. I am also involved with a variety of contentious and non-contentious insolvency work.

I assist on a wide variety of other commercial dispute resolution matters including, contractual disputes and sale and supply of goods and services.

In the couple of years I have been at SAS Daniels I have significantly developed my legal knowledge in insolvency law and contract law as well as my practical skills in applying the law to the specific facts of each case I work on.

Joined SAS Daniels: 2013

What people say about me:

"And that ladies and gentlemen is why Jack (and maybe Paul Formby!) should have top billing in chambers." (Imogen Kent, Beacon Licensed Insolvency Practitioners LLP - in response to the speedy collection of details)

"My enquiry was dealt with totally professionally and properly. The whole team at SAS Daniels have addressed my concerns." (Mr E Shaw, Shaws' Residential Estate Agents)

Why I'm no ordinary professional:

I recognise that not all clients are the same and therefore each one has their own personal standards and expectations. I endeavour to meet and exceed these standards and expectations on a daily basis. I keep my clients updated and try to answer any questions throughout to ensure that they are fully aware of what is happening; after all it is the client’s case.

A bit about me

Do you have any hobbies and what are they?

I am an adult volunteer in the Army Cadet Force and I have been since September 2013. I attend a detachment (which is in a school) every Tuesday and Thursday night to teach children (aged between 12 and 18) various military and non-military skills. I am kept quite busy doing this as we also go away on weekend long and week long camps.

If we pressed play on your ipod what would we hear?

You would hear one of the many many songs I have on my iPhone. It would most likely be a song by Oasis, The Stone Roses, Kasabian, Noel Gallagher, The Courteeners and the list goes on…

What is your favourite sport?

My favourite sport, to play and to watch, is football and I support Manchester United.
