Year Published: 2012

North West law firm SAS Daniels LLP has been awarded a place on the National Australia Bank Group’s (NAB) West of England legal panel.

The only non-city centre practice to be appointed to the regional panel, SAS Daniels will advise NAB’s business bank subsidiary Yorkshire Bank, primarily with real estate matters.

The new appointment tops off a year of sustained growth for the Stockport-based firm, which included 11 new appointments and the acquisition of Macclesfield-based Berry & Co. In August, SAS Daniels announced its intention to become a top 100 UK law firm within the next five years.

Becky Simpson, real estate partner at SAS Daniels, said: “Following a competitive selection process, we are delighted to take up a place on the panel and look forward to building a strong relationship with Yorkshire Bank.”

Chief Executive of SAS Daniels, added: “The fact we are the only non-city centre firm on the panel is a testament to the quality of Becky’s team. We’ve enjoyed sustained growth in 2011 and will continue to drive growth in our business to business revenues next year.”

National Australia Bank operates more than 1,800 branches and service centres worldwide and is responsible to more than 460,000 shareholders. In the UK, it owns banking franchises Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank.
