Cheshire law firm SAS Daniels LLP is sponsoring the Macclesfield Beer Festival 2017 for the fifth year running, as locals await the festival’s 23rd anniversary.
The Macclesfield Beer Festival, held at Macclesfield Rugby Club, will take place in the evenings on Friday 5th May and Saturday 6th May, as well as Saturday day time. Once again, the festival will have over 250 beers, wines, ciders and perries available; more than any other beer festival locally, along with a selection of soft drinks and catering options such as hog roast and burgers.
The festival will also feature live music during each session and guests visiting the Saturday daytime session can also expect to enjoy family entertainment including a tombola, a raffle and a variety of games.
The festival is organised by Macclesfield Round Table, a voluntary group which organises events aiming to bind the community together, in partnership with The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). The group have confirmed that all proceeds following this year’s event will be donated to the Seashell Trust; a charity for children, young people and adults with sensory impairment, profound learning and communication difficulties. The funds raised will enable the Seashell Trust to build a large pavilion and patio area for students, this will be situated in the heart of its new development of 17 residential homes, together with outdoor furniture and leisure equipment.
Micky Jones, Chair of the Macclesfield Beer Festival Committee, said: “Each year we look forward to bringing together the residents of Macclesfield – and the surrounding areas – to the festival and raising a huge amount of money for a much-deserving local charity. We’re thrilled to be welcoming the support of SAS Daniels as one of our main sponsors, as well as all of the volunteers who make this fantastic event possible.”
Nigel Read, Partner at SAS Daniels, said: “We are delighted to be involved once again with Macclesfield Beer Festival. It is such an exciting and much anticipated event for the local community and as a Cheshire-based firm, it is great to be part of it.”
