Showing their support for the charity, which empowers women across the UK to unlock their full potential, secure employment and transform their lives, female members of staff across all 7 teams of the firm have donated a substantial amount of pre-loved workwear to fill the Smart Works wardrobes.
The charity’s stylists work with women to find an outfit they will feel comfortable and confident in, while their volunteer coaches guide women through job interview preparation with CV advice and mock interviews.
As a majority female firm, SAS Daniels is proud to ‘inspire inclusion’ this International Women’s Day by taking action to help forge women’s equality and support women into employment.
Jeremy Orrell, chief executive officer at SAS Daniels commented: “Smart Works Greater Manchester changes the lives of thousands of women every year for the better, and we are proud to play a small part in the charity’s incredible work through our donation. International Women’s Day shines a spotlight on the challenges that women around the world face, and while there is a growing recognition of these issues, collectively we must continue to raise awareness and drive further progress to forge a more inclusive world for women.”
