SAS Daniels LLP is pleased to announce the promotions of Clarize Coertze and Anna Thompson to solicitor, following their recent qualification.

Clarize Coertze joined SAS Daniels in August 2022, shortly after relocating from South Africa to the UK. She holds a BA in Law and Journalism and an LLB from Rhodes University, and qualified as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2022 – a role equivalent to a solicitor in England and Wales.

Clarize has now qualified as a solicitor in the UK, reflecting her dedication and ambition in the legal sector. Since joining the firm’s Macclesfield arm, she has been a key part of the commercial property team, contributing to a range of transactions with professionalism, strong legal knowledge and a clear focus on client service.

Anna Thompson has been with SAS Daniels since November 2021 and has played a pivotal role within the residential property team at the firm’s Chester office. Supporting a wide range of residential transactions, Anna has consistently demonstrated strong legal initiative and a commitment to delivering excellent client outcomes.

Jeremy Orrell, chief executive officer at SAS Daniels, commented: “Clarize and Anna have proven themselves to be talented, dedicated members of the SAS Daniels team. Their well-deserved promotions are a testament to their individual commitment and reflect the firm’s broader ambition to nurture and retain top legal talent. We are proud to support their continued career development and look forward to seeing their futures grow with us at SAS Daniels.”

Steven Percy, partner and head of commercial property, SAS Daniels, said: “Clarize’s promotion marks a significant milestone in her journey with SAS Daniels. She has consistently proven herself to be a valuable member of the team, and the quality of her work speaks for itself. We look forward to supporting her continued growth and success as part of our commercial property team.”

Kaye Whitby, partner and head of Chester office, SAS Daniels, added: “Anna’s journey has been marked by dedication and progress. Her commitment to both clients and the firm has been clear from the beginning, and we’re delighted to see her efforts recognised with her qualification as a solicitor in our residential property team.”
