North West law firm SAS Daniels LLP is sponsoring the Macclesfield Beer Festival 2016 for the fourth year running, as locals anticipate the festival’s 22nd anniversary.
The Beer Festival, held at Macclesfield Rugby Club, will take place in the evenings on Friday 6th May and Saturday 7th May, as well as Saturday day time. Once again, the festival will have over 250 beers, wines, ciders and perrys on offer; more than any other beer festival locally, along with a selection of soft drinks.
The festival will also feature live music during each session and a variety of food options. Guests to the Saturday daytime session can also expect to enjoy family entertainment including a tombola and raffle, bar skittles and balloon sculptures.
The festival is organised by Macclesfield Round Table, a voluntary group which organises events aiming to bind the community together, in partnership with The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA). The proceeds for this year’s event will support Park Lane School: an all-age special school for children with severe learning difficulties, some with additional physical, sensory and medical difficulties.
Micky Jones, Chair of the Macclesfield Beer Festival Committee, said: “The Macclesfield Beer Festival is run entirely by volunteers and over the last 21 years we’ve raised over £200,000 for charities in the local area, this year I’m hoping that, in our 22nd year, we’ll be able to raise a fantastic amount of money for Park Lane School.”
Justine Clowes, Partner at SAS Daniels, said: “We are now in our fourth year of sponsoring the event and it’s a pleasure to be an integral part of the Macclesfield Beer Festival once again . It’s become a key date in the calendar for locals, and as a Cheshire-based business, with an office in Macclesfield, we’re delighted to play our part.”
SAS Daniels LLP will sponsor Macclesfield Beer Festival alongside chartered accountants, Bennett Brooks. For further information and details of how to buy tickets, please visit – www.MacclesfieldBeerFestival.org.
