North West law firm, SAS Daniels LLP, has achieved its best ever rankings in national legal guide ‘The Legal 500’.
Rankings in The Legal 500 are key to the firm’s credentials, recognising the firm’s specialist teams, based solely on merit, and reinforcing its proposition as ‘No ordinary law firm’.
The Legal 500 is viewed as a go-to guide for those choosing a law firm and reflects work delivered between January and December 2015.
SAS Daniels has surpassed its 2015 rankings in The Legal 500 on both a firm-wide and individual basis. Most notably the firm has been recognised as a Top Tier firm for Corporate & Commercial law. Partner Jeremy Orrell, the Corporate team head, is also recognised as an ‘Outstanding Individual’ with researchers from the directory saying he is ‘‘very responsive and clear in his advice, which is always jargon free and easy to understand.”
The firm maintained all its existing specialism rankings as well as gaining new recommendations for Insolvency & Corporate Recovery and Construction. Individual rankings have increased to 16, with new entries this year for Andy Booth (Corporate & Commercial and Technology, Media & Telecoms and Neil Powell (Commercial Property).
Editors and researchers from The Legal 500 praised the firm for providing ‘clear and practical advice’ on Employment law matters, while the Family Team was applauded for being ‘very responsive.’
Jeremy Orrell, Partner and Head of Corporate at SAS Daniels, commented: “We are absolutely delighted with this year’s Legal 500 rankings. SAS Daniels is recognised as a major player in the legal market and I am personally delighted to be ranked as a tier one specialist alongside other significant names in the North West region. This recognition will strengthen our message that SAS Daniels is able to offer specialist advice to rival any of the city centre firms.”
