North West law firm SAS Daniels announces the appointment of four new property Solicitors to support its rapidly expanding team. Neil Powell joins as a Partner in the Commercial Property team, along with Associate Solicitors Stewart Smith and Scott Tams.
Partner, Neil Powell brings with him 30 years of commercial property experience, with specialisms in regeneration and development in both the private and public sector. Acting for local government, Neil has worked within the education and retail sectors. His new role will see him support the growing Commercial Property team and advance services focusing on development and regeneration, as well as the needs of local government. Neil is based at the firm’s Stockport office but will also cover the firm’s other offices in Macclesfield, Chester and Congleton.
Associate Solicitor, Stewart Smith brings a further 23 years commercial property experience and a specialism in the renewable energy sector. Stewart previously led the legal team at AMEC Wind Energy and worked on a number of renewable energy schemes at law firm, MFG. Prior to that he worked at Walker Smith Way in Chester, predominantly for landlords and tenants. Stewart is based at SAS Daniels’ office in Chester supporting clients locally and in North Wales.

Scott Tams joins from Fieldings Porter. He joins the Property team at the firm’s Stockport office later in January.
