How do changes in Stockport affect your business?
We would like to invite you to the very first The Business Club – Stockport. A unique networking event aimed at professionals throughout Stockport and the surrounding areas. If you like to network with likeminded people in a relaxed atmosphere whilst enjoying a delicious lunch, The Business Club – Stockport is the event for you.
The event will be held at Robinsons Brewery Visitors Centre, in the heart of Stockport. The Visitors Centre is known for revealing the secrets behind Robinsons’ award winning brewing process, which dates back almost 180 years. The rooms at this venue are named after Robinson’s most famous brews. Our event will be held in the ‘Old Tom room’ – an original craft beer dating back to 1899.
We will be joined by guest speaker, Caroline Simpson, Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration at Stockport Council. Caroline will be sharing her knowledge with attendees to The Business Club and telling them how Stockport is changing and what these changes could mean for their business.
As part of her role, Caroline is committed to ensuring Stockport town centre and its wider borough have a bright future through the Council’s Investing in Growth projects. Previously, Caroline has held roles at Cheshire East Council and the North West Development Agency which have involved the planning and implementation of a variety of development plans.
