I am a Partner in the Family Law team in Macclesfield and have specialised in this area of law for over 17 years, working in both local and city centre law firms. This has given me a breadth of experience and expertise from cases involving high net worth clients to those involving a modest asset division and the inherent challenges this entails. I have experience in the law relating to same sex partnerships, having co-run the LGBT legal clinic in Manchester.
As a specialist in family law my work covers all aspects of divorce and ancillary financial work, disputes which involve children, and precautionary work such as pre and post-nuptial agreements. I am also a member of Resolution, the national organisation of specialist family solicitors.
Joined SAS Daniels: 2019
Why I'm no ordinary professional:
I appreciate that problems affecting a family or marriage do not just need a legal solution, but require careful handling to enable all parties to move forward with their lives, into the future and not just through the current difficulties. I strive to provide that outcome.
A bit about me
What three items would you take if you were going to be isolated on a desert island?
If on a deserted island I would take a knife to build shelter and secure food, fragranced soap as I could not cope with being unclean, and a distress flare so I would be found and rescued after about a month, which is probably long enough to endure only your own company.
What’s the best place you’ve visited and why?
The best place I have ever visited would have to be Venice. Even the most dilapidated buildings look enchanting in the Italian sunshine
Do you have any hobbies and what are they?
I have recently discovered the joy of contemporary dance (watching, not participating). It`s surprisingly soothing.
