I’m a Senior Associate Solicitor in our Wills, Trusts and Probate team advising on a board range of private client matters including wills and wealth planning, powers of attorney, trusts and estate administration. I have particular expertise in advising clients with family businesses, including farming businesses. I also have experience advising clients on the creation of trusts for a disabled person in order to protect assets during their life time or upon death.
I am a fully qualified member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and was awarded a STEP excellence award for my performance in the Administration of Estates module of the STEP Certificate and Diploma.
I was named as one of the Top 35 under 35 private client practitioners in 2010 and 2013 by Private Client practitioner magazine.

Why I'm no ordinary professional:I aim to look at my client's circumstances as a whole, rather than focussing on one particular concern. By doing this I can pick up on issues which otherwise might be missed. I also ensure my clients feel well looked after by keeping them up-to-date on any progress and making myself available when they call.

A bit about me
What was your first/most interesting job?
My first job was working in my dad’s bakery. I didn’t enjoy the early mornings, but the smell of fresh bread and the endless supply of cakes helped!
What is your favourite sport?
I enjoy playing netball and have recently joined the firm’s netball team.
What’s the best place you’ve visited and why?
I visited Vietnam in 2008 and travelled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min in just over two weeks with various stops along the way. My favourite place was Halong Bay, which was just beautiful.
