What people say about me:
"We have had numerous conversations and email exchanges, and throughout you have remained professional, accurate and stoic, even when you had to explain legalities in ‘Fisher Price’ terms to me. What this has done, is create a long term relationship between our family, you and SAS Daniels. People deal with people, so really the relationship is with you Steven. Thanks for your patience and tenacity Steven, I really appreciate everything you have done (and are doing) for us.” (Paul Daniels, landowner of mixed-use development)
"Whether buying or selling a residential or commercial property it can be extremely stressful. Throughout this time period you need a calm and reassuring influence to make sure that the transaction proceeds as smoothly and efficiently as possible and that is exactly what Steven Percy did in my recent purchase. Even when pressure was being asserted by the other side he made sure that all of the important factors were dealt with without compromise and yet ensured lesser matters were dealt with swiftly to make sure the sale went through quickly. Always available at the other end of the phone and emails replied to efficiently. All in all a very professional and personable gentleman to deal with at a stressful time." (Will Prescott, Holden and Prescott)
"We have found dealing with Steven to be very easy. He is an efficient and communicative solicitor and we are pleased with the business he has done on our behalf." (Paulene Willett, Goyt Investments Limited)
"We recently undertook a reasonably complex property transaction and during a stressful few months, I found Steven a very safe pair of hands. He was straight-forward to work with, always responsive and available and completed the work professionally and on time, with clear and transparent pricing to boot. I was very pleased with the job Steven did on our behalf, so much so that I will let his odd predilection for Mumford & Sons pass (almost) without comment." (Richard Stewart, Prime Direct Distribution)
Why I'm no ordinary professional:
I ensure I fully understand my clients’ legal and business objectives at the outset, so that the advice given is relevant and pragmatic. My clients are provided with my direct dial on day one – there are no gatekeepers here. If any issues do arise I make it my priority to deal with them personally and immediately. I believe in dealing in plain English not legal jargon.
A bit about me
Do you have any hobbies and what are they?
I regularly play team tennis and squash. I suffer the common love / hate relationship with golf – currently aiming high for a single figure handicap. In the summer, water skiing in the warm and calm Irish Sea...and come the winter, skiing in the alps.
Do you have a hidden talent?
I was fortunate to grow up playing a number of musical instruments, including the saxophone, piano, guitar, drums and even the didgeridoo!
If we pressed play on your ipod what would we hear?
A real mixed bag, from Herbie Hancock and Mumford & Sons to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Muse and pretty much everything in between.
Are you involved in any charities or organisations outside of work?
I am a trustee on the board of Everybody Sport and Recreation, a charity that promotes health and leisure facilities within Cheshire East. My role as a trustee is to give strategic direction and vision through the board's Finance and Risk committee.
