We can also provide you with names of financial advisers that we regularly work with and who we know to be experts in the care funding arena. Financial Planning is a major factor and something that we encourage our clients to do. In this particular area, we recommend that a member of Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA) be considered as they have an externally accredited qualification which confirms their specialism in this area.
We can advise you on the way in which care is funded, and whether or not you are likely to have to fund your own care or if you might receive assistance from the local authority. We will also make sure that you know which benefits you could be entitled to, as this is often overlooked.
